DREAMS...
Little and large islands scattered across Indonesia often have limited or no land access, making boats the best way to explore. Longer crossings are usually overnight, so no daylight is wasted. With a solid vessel and the right knowledge, you can be in the right place at the right time to score the waves you dream of. Every surfer should do at least one Indo boat trip with good friends in their life, and most come back for more. Beyond sharing perfect waves in paradise, the right setup offers plenty for non-surfers and tired shoulders too. We know the boats, guides, and operations, and will recommend the best fitting charter for your group. Solo surfers also welcome on certain shared trips.
THE SURF
Mentawai: Yess. But also much more.
When thinking of surf boat trip, Mentawai comes to mind first, naturally. It feels like it was designed for charters on purpose, with barrels for all tastes in every direction, plus rippable walls. But Indonesia has so much more. Just north, the Telo, Hinako and Banyak Islands offer world-class setups. And heading East, Sumba, Rote, the Malukus and even West Papua can deliver uncrowded perfection at the right times. While boat trips often equate to hunting standup barrels, there are plenty of windows, regions & waves where the surf is more about fun than fear for those not wanting to charge, and still as dreamy as it gets.
