The Resort
THE LAST FRONTIER
Somewhere deep in the Telo Islands, Surfing Village keeps the old Indo spirit alive. Off-grid, low key, and running on pure stoke, this isn’t your average surf trip. With almost two decades in the area, the crew has 18+ quality waves dialed, including three right out front (Pasti, Lobang, and Nagadens) and plenty more within a short boat ride. After years of fine-tuning, the whole operation runs like clockwork, with some of the best guiding we’ve experienced. Add great food, good times, and total focus on the surf for the complete experience. Whether you’re chasing barrels, fun walls, or just the feeling of being far away, this is it, The Last Frontier.
Accommodation
Surfing Village features 4 bungalows built by surfers for surfers, using local wood and natural materials. Each two-storey bungalow holds three king beds with ocean views, mosquito nets, and fans, designed so every bed faces the waves. The first floor has two private rooms and a shaded lounge; the loft upstairs opens to 360° views & more privacy. Outdoor showers, and hammocks add comfort, while the adjacent toilet hut for each bungalow takes the experience up a notch. The ground floor is where you hold your quiver and wax before heading out. Sea breeze, shade, and simplicity do the rest.
THE SURF
Telos are inconsistent? Wrong.
The Surfing Village crew are the longest-residing surfers in the Telos, and that shows. After nearly two decades exploring every reef, tide, and swell, they’ve mapped out 18+ world-class waves, three of them right out front (Pasti, Lobang, and Nagadens). The rest are just a short boat ride away, with only a few missions like Jauh, Facas, and Shhh taking over an hour. Expect everything from fun walls to heavy slabs, long barrels to playful peelers. The waves out front are epic, but they go the extra mile and never cut corners with fuel or effort. With some of the best guiding we’ve ever experienced, you’ll always be on the right wave at the right time.
THE FOOD
Good food, no fuss.
Three daily buffet-style meals keep you fuelled, with plenty of variety and a 24-hour snack bar stacked with cakes, biscuits, and treats. Expect a mix of well-made local Indo dishes and Western classics, plus your own pick for breakfast. Vegetarian and special diets are easily catered for. The bar is always open with ice-cold Bintangs, Heinekens, and San Miguels, or they encourage to bring your own duty free, with ice and mixers ready on site.
EXPERIENCES
Good times out of the water
When the surf’s done, Surfing Village keeps the good times rolling. Go fishing or spearfishing, snorkel in clear water, or just relax with a book and a cold one. The “Complexo Complicado” hosts the competitive and unmissable nightly pool comp running throughout the trip and there is ping pong, darts, and chess sessions too. The third-floor open space is perfect for stretching or yoga with a full view of the lineup. And the hammock area, always playing tunes, is the perfect chilling spot. Simple days, real laughs, shared stories and disconnecting when surfed out.
