Manduna Resort is a boutique surf resort located on the southern tip of Rote Island, East Nusa Tenggara. Set on a quiet stretch of coast Manduna invites guests to reconnect with nature and the ocean. The resort is set in an ideal location, just a short drive to Rote’s most famous waves, T-Land, Bo’a and more. Manduna is a barefoot-chic heaven where you can disconnect from the rest of the world. Eleven beautifully designed suites and a private two-bedroom bungalow offer uninterrupted ocean and pool views. When you’re not exploring the island or scoring Rote’s famous waves, you can relax by the infinity pool, take a yoga session in the wellness space, use their steam sauna and cold plunge or simply sunset stroll along the white sand beach.

The last section is also perfect for less experienced surfers looking to improve. The resort offers daily comp boat trips to T-Land and other Nemberala breaks, plus scooter hire for fast and easy access to waves like Sucky Mamas, Boa, Squealers, Petrol Bomb and more. With fun options for beginner and intermediate surfers as well, there are waves for all on Rote. Boat trips to remote outer island breaks can also be arranged for uncrowded sessions in quality waves. Surf guiding is included, ensuring you hit the right spot at the right time.

The restaurant at Manduna Resort serves a vibrant blend of Indonesian and Asian dishes, all made with fresh local ingredients. The resident chef and kitchen team prepare a daily rotation of wholesome meals that keep guests satisfied from early morning surf snack through dinner under the stars. Breakfast features a range of light and hearty options. Lunch and dinner include seafood caught from local waters and produce from nearby markets. There’s also an à la carte menu available throughout the day, and dietary requirements are happily catered to. Expect nourishing food with great flavour, served in a relaxed beachfront setting.

While a full-size beach volleyball and beach tennis court offers fun for friends and families. Guests can rent scooters or quad bikes to explore the island at their own pace. Off-site activities include island-hopping, snorkelling trips, scuba diving, fishing, kitesurfing, and mangrove tours by kayak or SUP.
