Eight individually designed suites are spread across three levels, each inspired by the raw beauty outside the windows and finished with understated luxury. The Captain’s Cove crowns the lodge with 360 degree views of dunes, lagoon, and open Atlantic. From your private deck, watch seals carve waves, dolphins cruise past, and jackals roam beneath desert stars. The main event: Skeleton Bay. One of the most iconic waves on the planet. When it turns on, expect impossibly long, perfectly shaped barrels running for up to two kilometres over the sand. Fast, heavy, and technical, this is a wave that has defined careers, fuels legends and should not be underestimated. From May to September, consistent southwest swells deliver solid waves, with any west really lighting it up. Surf guides and 4x4 transfers at the ready to assisst the strike. Beyond this, forty kilometres of empty reefs and points stretch quietly down the coast. DINING
A TASTE OF THE COAST
Meals at the lodge refuel long surf days and showcase the best of the local coast. Expect well crafted cuisine shaped by the sea and surrounding desert, from fresh Walvis Bay oysters and line caught fish to seasonal produce sourced from nearby farms. Sweeping ocean and desert views set the backdrop, with excellent Namibian and South African wines on pour. All meals are included, breakfast, lunch, high tea, snacks, and dinner, along with house beverages. For something special, the famous Beach Braai brings sunset, fire, and flavour straight onto the sand.
