Each unit has been crafted using sustainable materials like local cryptomeria wood, cork and bamboo, and is finished with Azorean-inspired touches. One- and two-bedroom villas come with open living spaces, well-equipped kitchenettes and private terraces that look out across the ocean or lush gardens. The beach directly in front of the resort offers fun and often punchy waves, with sandbanks that shift throughout the year. Summer is ideal for beginners and intermediates, while winter draws heavier swells and more powerful surf. Nearby, you have plenty of other bays and waves providing alternative options for different winds and swells. Almost always very uncrowded and with 360 degrees of exposure to pick up swell, this island needs to be on every surfer’s bucket list.

Mornings begin with a made-to-order à la carte breakfast featuring fresh breads, cheeses, yoghurts, and fruits sourced from nearby producers.
