The Charter
SPACE, COMFORT, FREEDOM
Carpe Diem is one of those boats that just works. Solid, spacious, and built for proper surf missions across the Maldives. At 35 metres with three decks and a huge sun deck, it gives your crew room to spread out, reset, and cruise in comfort. Best suited for groups of 10–14 giving you plenty of space, but with capacity for up to 20 guests in total. Coming with a highly experienced Maldivian crew, the vibe feels easy and operations dialled from day one. A dedicated dhoni runs alongside, keeping transfers smooth and the lineup within reach. This is a charter that blends comfort and function without overcomplicating it. Just good people, clean logistics, and the freedom to chase the best waves throughout the Maldives.
Accommodation
Ten cabins spread across three decks give Carpe Diem a flexible, comfortable layout for mixed groups. You’ve got a suite and deluxe suite up top, doubles on the main deck, and a mix of twin, double, and bunk options below. Every cabin is air-conditioned with a private ensuite, so you get your own space to cool down and recharge after long sessions. It’s not overdesigned, just clean, practical, and dialled for surf travel. Plenty of room for surfboards, gear, and downtime, with communal areas that never feel cramped even on a full charter.

THE SURF
FLEXIBILITY IS EVERYTHING
Carpe Diem is built for mobility, and that’s what defines the experience. With the ability to run trips across any Maldivian atoll, your route stays fluid, shaped daily around swell, wind, and tides. A large dedicated surf dhoni, backed by a smaller dinghy, keeps transfers smooth and precise, dropping you straight into position without the usual crowd or chaos. Expect everything from long, wrapping walls to faster, hollow sections depending on your zone. North Malé delivers consistency and world-class setups, while the Central and Southern Atolls open the door to quieter, more exploratory sessions. Through Glide, we can add the right surf guide and photographer, making a real difference in scoring waves and capturing it properly.
DINING
QUALITY MEETS COMFORT
Dining onboard Carpe Diem strikes that sweet balance between quality and comfort. Expect three well-crafted meals a day, blending Maldivian, Sri Lankan, and Western flavours, all prepared fresh by an experienced onboard chef. The standard is high, with attention to detail, clean presentation, and flavours that go beyond your typical boat fare. Portions are generous, built for surfers who’ve been putting in long hours in the water. The open-air dining area keeps things relaxed and social, backed by warm, attentive service from a crew that knows how to look after you. Snacks flow between sessions, and dietary needs are handled seamlessly with prior notice.
EXPERIENCES
RESET AND EXPLORE
Life on Carpe Diem can be much more than just surf, sleep, repeat. The dhoni opens access to quiet islands, empty sandbanks, and calm lagoons where you can switch gears and slow things down. Snorkelling reveals vibrant reefs just below the surface, while sunset fishing adds an easy rhythm to the afternoons. Fully set up for diving, the boat comes with an experienced dive master onboard, and equipment can be easily arranged for those wanting to explore further underwater. The sundeck becomes its own space between sessions, equal parts recovery zone and social hub. Evenings are mellow, with warm air, open skies, and that shared energy that builds over the trip. It’s not over-programmed, just enough to keep things flowing when the tide drops or the wind shifts.
